This adaptive reuse and mixed-use project for the Oak & Saint coffee brand focuses on 5th wave hospitality principles. The clients wish to help reinvigorate the Southtown district of San Antonio while preserving its history and culture. Due to the lack of outdoor space, we restored and utilized the decrepit shell of the existing historic building to create a garden compound for dining and events. The two-story structure within the shell structure will house the coffee shop and sake bar as the primary tenant on the lower level, and an office and retail space above.
